The puppies have been developing well, gaining approximately 10% of their body weight each day since birth. By the time they are a week old they should have approximately doubled in weight. It's not unusual, however, for puppies to lose a little first when they are born, and one of our lost 3 grams in the first day while another gained only 4 grams.
So you can't necessarily guess who will be the heaviest at one week old based on who was heaviest at birth. That's what makes the poll fun. Yes, it is.
The question is this: which puppy will be heaviest at the one-week weigh-in on Tuesday morning?
